  • Rubrication: one initial, capital strokes, and underlines supplied in red.
  • Bound in full French brown morocco with blind-stamped panels on covers and spine; five raised bands on spine; gold-stamped cover edges and turn-ins with dragon motifs; title stamped in gold on spine ("Brunellus in speculo stultos"). Blue silk marker. All edges gilt. Housed in a maroon slipcase.
  • The woodcut in CPP copy has been partly lightly hand-colored.
  • Leaf size: 199 x 129 mm. Title leaf mended at lower inside margin; a few other leaves neatly mended at outside margin. Bookseller's description pasted to front free endpaper.
