  • Sometimes followed by a reissue of Scotus's 1495-1496 edition of Aristotle's Works (Goff A-965), with a general title for both works. The BM 15th cent. entry for the original Scotus edition describes this reissue with the Averroës: "Hain's description shows that on or after 1 March 1497, this and the following book (IB. 21110) were reissued as a continuation of Averroes, Destructiones destructionum, &c., 130 leaves, completed by Locatellus for Scotus on the date mentioned and starting with a general title ... The 130th leaf contains on the recto a letter of Niphus to the inquisitor and licenser Nicolaus Grassettus with the latter's licence to publish the Destructiones, on the verso the Prologus auerroys in libros physico[rum] followed by a short dedication of the Aristotle by Niphus to Laurentius Donatus."--Cf. BM 15th cent., vol. 5, p. 348 (IB. 21097)
