  • With a few contemporary ms. annotations in margins and underlinings.
  • Purchased by the College of Physicians of Philadelphia on 19 March 1920 from Maggs Bros.; with the bookplate of Herculis de Silva. Embossed circular stamp on leaf [2] reads: "Di residen. della stampa e libr. Olona". Inscription surrounds a crowned eagle standing on a pillar inscribed "Decreto xxx nov. 1810". The initials R[epublica] and I[taliana] appear to the eagle's left and right, respectively.
  • Bound in blind-tooled brown sheep, with gold-stamped spine and black calf spine label. Vellum guard at inner margin of leaf [6].
  • Leaf size: 285 x 209 mm. Slight dampstaining at top inner margin throughout.
