  • Imperfect: Last leaf (blank) wanting. Leaf o2 torn. Damp- and ink-staining throughout. Hole burned through center of leaves h2-6, with very slight loss of text. Worm damage in inner margins from gathering i, with wormholes slightly affecting the text in the last two gatherings.
  • Rubrication: Initials, paragraph marks, capital strokes, and underlinings supplied in red ink.
  • With early ms. ownership inscription on title leaf: Conventus Schongaviensis Carmelitanae Discalceatonis. With many contemporary ms. annotations in the table and the margins of the text. Red leather index tabs mark the beginning of each book.
  • Acquired by the College of Physicians of Philadelphia prior to 29 March 1932.
  • Restored binding: Dark brown calf, with center panels of original blind-stamped leather, wormed, over beech boards, with indentations where fore-edges clasps (2) were. Gold-stamped spine broken; housed in brown cloth-covered clamshell box.
  • Leaf size: 290 x 202 mm.
