  • "The text appears to have been revised throughout in this edition. The Ars memoriae is divided into two books instead of three, with considerable changes in the text. To the cuts of the first edition (1482, IA.20522) have been added a cut of a city from Fasciculus temporum to illustrate the section "Locorum qualitas" (G5b), a cut of the Ptolemaic system at the end of the first book (G7a), a cut of a female and male figure to illustrate the section begining "Cum prima huius libelli pars" (H1b), where there is a blank space in the earlier edition, and a "tree of qualities, &c." in two parts (H9b, H10a).
