  • Rubrication: Initials and capital strokes supplied in red. Woodcuts colored in reds, greens, browns, and yellows.
  • With ms. annotations in margins; the word "ducentium" on Tractatus de animalibus t.p. corrected in pen to read "ducentibus." Lengthy contemporary ms. notes, with red capital strokes, begin at bottom of colophon and continue on two blank leaves inserted at end. The second blank leaf at end is only a fragment, that was sliced diagonally prior to being annotated.

  • Bound in blind-tooled calf over wooden boards with bevelled edges; rebacked with gold lettering on spine; clasps lacking.
