  • Rubrication: Initials, capital strokes, and underlinings supplied in red. Ink from initials has bled onto facing leaf.
  • With contemporary ms. annotations in margins and on verso of final leaf in Latin and German.
  • Presented to the College of Physicians of Philadelphia by George Fales Baker, M.D., on 18 July 1901; with the bookplate and bookstamp of the J. Stockton Hough Library. Penciled date beneath library stamp on final leaf suggests that Hough acquired this volume in 1889.
  • Bound in quarter vellum over marbled paper boards.
  • Leaf size: 183 x 130 mm. Trimmed with some loss of ms. annotations.
