  • Includes a full-page woodcut illustration (140 x 93 mm.) on the verso of the title leaf, of Astronomia on her throne, flanked on the right by Ptolemy and on the left by Urania. Also includes numerous diagrams, seven of which are printed partly in light brown and/or red ink. The illustrations are printed from the same blocks used by Hieronymus De Sanctis in his 1488 edition.--Cf. BM 15th cent

  • Bound by H. Zucker, Philadelphia, in quarter green cloth over marbled paper boards, with gold-stamped red leather spine label; signed binding.
  • Leaf size: 200 x 147 mm. Trimmed with slight loss of ms. annotations in margins. Some ink and damp-stains throughout.
