- This is the second volume of the five volume set of Aristotle's works issued by Aldo Manuzio. The first volume (dated 1 Nov. 1495) was considered to be an independent work by Manuzio. He considered the second through fifth volumes (dated Feb. 1497, 29 Jan. 1497, 1 June 1497, and June 1498, respectively) to form a separate four volume set. Even though this volume was chronologically the third volume of Aristotle's works to be issued by Manuzio, he intended it to form the first of the four volume set.--Cf. dedicatory letter (leaf *1v)
