  • Rubrication: Initials supplied in alternating blue and red ink, with marginal extensions; capital strokes supplied in red; heading and chapter marks in red or blue; heading underlinings in red. Large initial on leaf b1 supplied in blue, decorated in red and green, and illuminated with gilt. Inner and lower margins on leaf b1 decorated with foliage in blue, red, green, pink, brown, and grey and illuminated with gilt circles. Some decoration is lost due to trimming. Titling is highlighted in yellow.
  • With an occasional ms. annotation in red ink in the margin.
  • On title leaf: armorial bookplate and ms. ownership inscription of Adam Samuel Thebesius; early ms. ownership inscription of Johannes Fergius; and autograph of J. Stockton Hough, dated 1891.
