  • Alphabetic signatures supplied in ms., with contemporary ms. annotations in margins, underlinings, capital strokes and "guide-letters" supplied in brown ink. Last 20 leaves foliated in a modern hand. Author's name supplied in contemporary capitals on recto of first (blank) leaf: "GALEOTTVS:".
  • Pasted on front endleaf are a penciled note signed by the bookseller W.M. Voynich and a 5-page typescript letter, probably also by him, stating evidence for his theory that this edition was printed in Budapest, circa. 1471-1472, making it the first printed book from a Hungarian press.
  • Presented to the College of Physicians of Philadelphia by S. Weir Mitchell, M.D., with the bookplate and bookstamp of the J. Stockton Hough Library.
  • Bound in half modern vellum over white cloth boards, with gold stamped maroon Morocco spine label and red speckled edges. First leaf (blank) reattached at inner margin.
  • Leaf size: 277 x 194 mm. Occasional dampstaining on top outer margins.
